Sedum Reflexum

Sedum is a species of perennial succulent that also flowers. Once native to Northern, Southern and Central Europe, Reflexum was once widespread.

Popular both in the home and garden, this species of Sedum was known for its drought-resistant properties, preferring minimal water intake to survive.

As climate change continued to unravel in the 20th Century, weather conditions would increasingly become wetter, which saturated Reflexum’s native habitats and led to its demise in the wild.

It continues to be a popular plant to cultivate in lab settings and for display for the public, as well as being one of a few plants still available for purchase.
