We seek reflection, we seek solace, for only the imagined is where we find peace...

In these imagined futures, climate change has rendered todays ecosystems obsolete. Plant life is now contained to cultural spaces, with only rare specimens available to view, never to touch.

 

The themes are centred around the climate crisis and how high levels of human populations are and will inhabit urban environments. We are already seeing a detachment from nature.

 

Title Unknown actively asks spectators to question their behaviours and relationship to the natural world.

 

Can we continue our far too often disruptive activities while enhancing the natural environment?... How do we sensitise ourselves back to nature?...
