Origanum Majorana

Origanum Majorana is an ancient plant which was traditionally used as a herb in cooking.

​

Marjoram was long-lasting in the wild during the climate change epoch, due to its hardy properties which included a preference for acidic soil and drier conditions.

​

Native to the Mediterranean region in areas around 1500m above sea level, wildfires would eventually wipe out the last surviving specimen in 2110.

​

Today, it is still grown by people indoors.
